Partnering with Parents to Celebrate
a Child’s Steps of Faith

One of the many challenges facing family ministry today is the need to develop a partnership between the home and the church. It was God’s design to place the discipleship of the next generation in the hands of parents, in the environment of the home. There is no better plan for discipleship, than to engage the home and the church in a discipleship partnership.

“Milestones” were created as a tool for that very purpose. Milestones are fun, interactive workshops for kids and their parents to attend together. Milestones were designed to help families and the church celebrate the faith progress of their children, and to provide a tool for church leaders to use as they partner with the parents in the training and instruction of their children. Milestones are designed for use by pastors and Children’s Ministry leaders to implement at their church, but they are also available for parents to adapt to at-home learning. You will find all the resources you need as a pastor or parent on our “Purchase Milestones” page. Check it out! And God bless your family!

Milestones were created by Pastor Mary Blosser. She has spent a lifetime working with children and families in a variety of capacities in church and faith-based organizations. She has been a champion for Children’s and Family discipleship throughout her ministry. Most recently, Mary has served as Pastor of Children and Families at Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo, Minnesota, where she has implemented programs designed to develop a home-focus in Children’s ministry and throughout all areas of ministry in the church. Her efforts have resulted in exciting ministry changes that are impacting the children, teens, adults, and grandparents of her congregation.

Mary’s favorite aspect of ministry is equipping parents and grandparents to be the primary disciple-makers in their own home.

Mary has three grown children, eight grand-children and three grand-dogs. She models Faith@Home with her own family and loves to help other families implement dynamic discipleship in the home.
